Since 2009, the LaFT BW has financially supported outstanding projects on the independent dance and theatre scene with a cultural-education focus for audiences of all ages in Baden-Württemberg. Funding is provided by the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts of Baden-Württemberg. The minimum funding amount is 2.000 EUR.

As with normal project funding, the projects should stand out for their artistic quality, originality and model character and give impetus to the work and development of the independent dance and theatre scene in Baden-Württemberg, with a focus on cultural education. In particular, the projects should involve a collaboration between professional artists and cultural practitioners and educators, social pedagogues and teachers, as well as a cooperation between cultural and educational institutions and children’s and youth facilities in Baden-Württemberg.

The application deadline is binding. Applications for “Cultural Education” project funding can be submitted online from one month before the application deadline up to midnight of the final day, 15 May. The funds approved by the LaFT BW are subject to the general auxiliary conditions for project funding (ANBest-P) of the state.
