Fees for participation in artistic training courses or seminars can be subsidised up to 50% (maximum 500 EUR). Therapeutic or pedagogical training courses / seminars are expressly excluded. In addition, travel expenses and accommodation costs can be remunerated. More details can be found on the application form. The invoices are paid upon submission of the original documents.

Applications can only be made by professional freelance dance and theatre artists or individual artists who can prove that they have been active in the field of dance or theatre for at least two years, who are based in Baden-Württemberg and are not receiving any institutional funding from the state of Baden-Württemberg. “Professional” is defined as artists who work full-time in the performing arts and who make a living mainly from this work (more than 50%).

The grant application must be completed and signed at least 2 weeks before the start of the project, with additional information on the training or seminar to be attended, and submitted to the LaFT BW office.
